Stephanie DiLorenzo, Esq.

President

Stephanie DiLorenzo is an attorney with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, where she has advanced through the organization and currently serves as a Claim Specialist Level III, handling complex litigation and negotiating multimillion-dollar claim settlements. Her experience includes insurance defense, mediation, and strategic claims resolution.

Stephanie is proudly serving her second term as President of the Staten Island Women's Bar Association (SIWBA). During her tenure, she has focused on expanding member programming, strengthening relationships within the Staten Island legal community, increasing opportunities for mentorship and professional development, and supporting SIWBA's charitable and scholarship initiatives. She is committed to fostering collaboration among attorneys, judges, and law students while advancing the mission of SIWBA.

Admitted to practice in New York, Stephanie is dedicated to serving both the legal profession and her community through leadership, advocacy, and volunteerism.

Hon. Natalie Barros

1st Vice President

Hon. Natalie Barros is an accomplished legal professional with over 17 years of experience in criminal law. In January 2026, she was appointed to the bench by Mayor Zohran Mamdani and currently serves as a judge in Kings County Criminal Court where she presides over arraignments and various calendar parts. Prior to her appointment, Judge Barros served as Supervising Court Attorney to the Honorable Biju Koshy, Supervising Judge of Richmond County Criminal Court. In her leadership role, she supported Judge Koshy in managing court operations and acted as a liaison between the court and stakeholders in the Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) Problem-Solving Courts. She previously held multiple key roles within the court system, including Supervising Court Attorney to the Hon. Ann Thompson and as Court Attorney to the Hon. David Frey, where she provided editorial contributions to Judge Frey’s “Rosenblatt’s Complete Search Warrant, Annotated” manual.

Prior to joining the NYS Unified Court System, Judge Barros served in the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, most recently as Deputy Bureau Chief of the Criminal Court Bureau. There, she provided guidance to and mentored junior prosecutors on ethical responsibilities and supervised them during hearings and trials. She also served as a liaison between the Bureau and other criminal justice partners. As an Assistant District Attorney in both the Trial and Criminal Court Bureaus, Judge Barros prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanors to violent felonies. She conducted numerous hearings and jury trials, including two first-degree murder trials resulting in life sentences. She also led narcotics investigations and promoted community education through outreach initiatives in local schools.

Judge Barros received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from New York Law School in 2009. She is a member of the Richmond County Bar Association and the Richmond County Red Mass Committee. She is a volunteer with Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue, fostering cats and dogs. Judge Barros is a devoted wife and mother of two boys.

Katryna A. Cordova, Esq.

2nd Vice President

Katryna A. Cordova, Esq. is currently employed at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, where she focuses on negotiating and mediating claim settlements for clients across the country. She previously served as an associate at the Law Office of Grace V. Mattei, concentrating her practice in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Real Estate.

Katryna earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2020, where she was a member of the Housing Rights Clinic. She remains actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Richmond County Bar Association.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Katryna enjoys playing guitar, baking, and reading.

Carrie Adams, Esq.

Treasurer

Carrie Adams started her legal career in private practice as an associate attorney at the Law Office of Claire Cody Miller, Esq. where she practiced Matrimonial and Family law for 14 and a half years. Carrie transitioned to the position of Principal Law Clerk to Supreme Court Justice, Honorable Theresa M. Ciccotto, in November 2024 where she assists the Judge in handling a busy matrimonial part in Brooklyn Supreme Court. In whatever spare time she has, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, cooking, and playing and watching sports.

Soukaina Sourouri, Esq.

Immediate Past President

Soukaina Sourouri, Esq. is currently a solo practitioner managing her own general practice firm. Ms. Sourouri predominately focuses on Family Law in Richmond County. She is a member of the 18B Panel in Richmond County Family Court as well as a member of the Part 36 Attorneys for Children Panel. She is the former court attorney for Family Court Judge Janet L. McFarland. She graduated from CUNY Law School in 2020. While attending law school at night, she worked for the Law Office of Rosa Pannitto, P.C. After graduation, she worked for the law firm of Glenn Yost prior to becoming a court attorney. She serves as the President of Staten Island’s Woman’s Bar Association.

Ms. Sourouri is also a Member of the Richmond County Bar Association, Staten Island Trial Lawyers, and Columbian Lawyers of Brooklyn. Since 2017, she has been a volunteer at CUNY! Citizenship Now assisting in legal screenings for green card holders applying for citizenship. Part of her goals are to continue to serve the Staten Island community.
